Structure and Principles
The Club is run entirely by parents of the participating children. Players are divided into four groups according to age as follows:
| YELLOW | Reception and Year 1 | Classes 1,2,3 and 4 | Ages 4,5 and 6 |
| RED | Year 2 | Classes 5 and 6 | Ages 6 and 7 |
| GREEN | Year 3 | Classes 7 and 8 | Ages 7 and 8 |
| BLUE | Years 4,5 and 6 | Classes 9 and 14 | Ages 8 to 11 |
Depending on numbers each group may be split into two. Where appropriate children may participate in a higher or lower age group - judgement will always take aptitude and safety into consideration and the decision of the Group Coach will be final.
The sessions are split into three 30 minute periods as follows:
| Period 1 | Warming up, including controlled stretching and aerobics, finishing with some competitive relay races that incorporate dribbling skills |
Period 2 | Specific skills coaching, including passing, dribbling and shooting |
Period 3 | Game played in the above groups, limited usually to 4 or 5 players in each side to ensure full participation by all players |
MILTON RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB IS AFFILIATED TO CAMBRIDGESHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.
