Rules

Player safety is of paramount importance.

All players must be properly equipped with football boots and shin pads.
Players must stay off the concrete playground and climbing frame.
During the months of winter players should wear additional warm clothing including a woolly hat and gloves. A windproof-waterproof outer garment must be provided. The principle of multiple layers of clothing accommodates changing body temperatures.
In the event of severe weather or unacceptably hard, e.g. frozen, ground a session may be cancelled.
Players should bring along a personal drinks bottle - water and plastic cups will be provided by the Club.
Players under 8 years of age must not leave the playing field without a parent or guardian.
Players must inform the Group Coach of any need to leave the field of play. Players requiring the toilet will be escorted to and from the school changing room facilities but will NOT be accompanied into the toilet room.
The Club is affiliated to the Cambridgeshire Football Association and is governed by a Child Protection Policy.

The Club is run along strict guidelines of discipline.

Players must be attentive and listen carefully to the Group Coach.
Players must carry out the instructions of the Group Coach.
Football is the only preoccupation of the club and players must not indulge in any other activities such as playing hide-and-seek or climbing on school premises or equipment.

Players, coaches and helpers must all conduct themselves properly with mutual respect.

Coaches and helpers' expectations must take into account the different ages of maturity of the children.
Players must show fair play and respect for each other at all times.
There shall be no fighting.
There shall be no bullying – contravention of this strict ruling may result in expulsion from the Club.
There shall be no use of bad language.
