School Agreement

Purpose of this Agreement:

  • To foster partnership between schools and parents
  • To raise standards across all areas of school life
  • To make expectations clear on all sides

The School - We will aim to:

  • provide a quality education in which each child is valued as an individual
  • provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment
  • keep you informed about your child's progress and general school matters
  • achieve high standards of behaviour through developing a sense of responsibility and building good relationships
  • inform you at an early stage of any concerns we may have and be available to discuss any concerns you may have
  • offer opportunities to get involved with class and school activities
  • be welcoming and approachable

Parents - We/I will aim to:

  • support the school in the standards it seeks to achieve by supporting school policies and rules
  • see that my child arrives at school on time (8.55 am) and is collected on time (3.15 pm/3.20 pm)
  • send my child to school dressed according to school guidelines and equipped with P.E. kit
  • support the school in maintaining high standards of behaviour
  • encourage my child with any work done at home and to bring homework back on time
  • attend parents' meetings to discuss my child's progress
  • let staff know of any concerns or problems that may affect my child's learning
