At Milton Church of England Primary School we aim for excellence by by providing a quality education for each young person in our care.

- develops an understanding of right and wrong
- enables everyone to have high expectations of themselves and each other
- helps to focus on the religious and spiritual aspect of life
this will be noticeable by:
- instances of bullying taken seriously and dealt with
- the respect adults and children show for each other
- PSHE(personal, social and health education) teaching given to children
- the moral and religious teaching given to the children
by encouraging SUPPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
- between children
- between adults and children
- between home and school
- between school and community
this will be noticeable in the way:
- adults and children treat each other and work together
- teachers are approachable
- information is exchanged between home and school
- children are helped to understand themselves and how they get on with others
- children are encouraged to take responsibility for their behaviour and their work
- the school is a happy, safe place to be
- attendance and attainment are high
by creating SURROUNDINGS which:
- are safe and secure
- attractive and stimulating
- reflect the work of the school
- ensure a high quality of care at all times
- enable children to behave appropriately to work in class and play at playtime
this will be noticeable by:
- observing everyday routines and procedures e.g. first-aid and supervised playtimes
- seeing a well-maintained building in good decorative order
- seeing children's work displayed along with other materials which interest and motivate
- knowing that trained staff are always there to prevent problems or to help children solve problems
- the respect shown by children
