Say No To Bullying
SEAL Sharing Assembly: 23rd November 2007.
As part of our work in PSHE through the SEAL scheme of work, and to coincide with National Anti Bullying Week of 19th November, Key Stage II children shared their learning with staff and parents in a SEAL Sharing Assembly. Children showed a range of work including posters and emotions pictures, recited poems and performed drama to demonstrate their understanding of the issues surrounding bullying. Children have become aware of the feelings of those bullied, those bullying and witnesses to bullying, and the emotional, physical and psychological impact of bullying. The overriding message is that bullying is not tolerated in any form at Milton, and that if children know of it, they are to tell someone about it.
Children also had the opportunity to enter a "Say No To Bullying" poster competition, and there were 4 winners:
The winning designs are displayed here.
Year 3 Winner | Year 4 Winner | Year 5 Winner | Year 6 Winner |
There were many high quality entries, and we would like to thank all the children who entered. We will try to display all the posters in school.
