7.5 Hours per week (1 ½ hours daily, term time only)

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Coordinator from 2nd June. We are a friendly staff and the willingness to work as part of a team is essential. The successful candidate will coordinate our team of supervisors ensuring good care of our children and promoting their social development during the lunch break.
Hours are from 12.00 – 1.30pm daily, term time only.

School Premises
Milton is a village on the northern boundary of the City of Cambridge with mainly private housing. The school is situated in Humphries Way with new accommodation comprising 14 classrooms, two halls, a library, two TV rooms, two group rooms and a large staff room. All classrooms are equipped with I.W.Bs There are two playgrounds, a large playing field and an outside swimming pool. The school is a Church of England School (voluntary controlled) with pupils aged 4+ to 11. The foundation stage pupils are in two parallel rooms with an enclosed outside area.
Staffing and Management
The present staffing establishment is Headteacher and 14 class teachers plus three part-time members of staff covering P.P.A. and management time. The support staff consists of a secretary, bursar and a team of skilled teaching assistants. The staff are a most welcoming and professional group with a strong collegiate approach. The senior management team comprises the head, two deputy head teachers plus postholders. This is a school with an excellent working environment and a very committed staff who support and learn from each other. The overall level of achievement is high.
Parents and Governors
The school has high standards and expectations, which parents and governors wish to see, maintained. Good working relationships between home and school are actively encouraged: the school has a thriving School Association. The Governors are very committed and enthusiastic and work closely with the Head teacher and management team.
